Hatha

In Hatha yoga, you will learn to control your breathing in a relaxed and modulated way in order to provide focus in different postures. Through the holding of poses and continued practice of Asanas, proper alignment and mindful actions of the body can be found. Hatha yoga brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to the practitioner. Hatha yoga is a great way to start your yoga journey and is a wonderful launching pad for further development.

Vinyasa Flow

Ashtanga based style yoga class designed to create heat, release toxins and impurities and bring your mind to a more peaceful and calm state. This class will definitely help reduce weight, tone and strengthen your body. Movement of one posture to another with seamless flow creates a wonderful release of stress and tightness in muscles.

Slow Flow

This class is ideal for anyone who does not like Chattarungas and Downward Dog asana but Ideal for those needing a more gentle practice.  You will be guided through a series of  asanas focusing on linking breath with movement. Moving from pose to pose in a smooth and silky easy manner….ahhh….. . A perfect class to wind down and help you sleep like a baby.  Open to all levels.

Core Conditioning

This class will incorporate the following and will focus on strengthening the whole body, include core strength and stabilization that will enhance your yoga practice and offering you a diversity of more core and muscle strengthening. Each class will be different and it will keep you mentally and physically motivated and challenged. Prepare to sweat internally in this class and don’t blame us if those inches start to shed.

Restorative

A combination of gentle Yin and Restorative yoga poses that help us learn to relax and rest deeply. During deep relaxation, all the organ systems of the body are benefited, and a few of the measurable results of deep relaxation are the reduction of blood pressure, serum triglycerides and blood sugar levels in the blood, the increase of the "good cholesterol" levels, as well as improvement in digestion, fertility, elimination, the reduction of muscle tension, insomnia and generalized fatigue. We may use blankets, blocks, sleeping eye pillows and your mat. Feel free to bring your own or borrow one of ours for free. Wear comfortable clothing as you will want to be in your coziest for this class!

Ashtanga 

Ashtanga yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a series of challenging postures and a slightly rhythmic and quick pattern of Salutations. The practice produces intense internal heat and purifying sweat that detoxifies the muscles and organs. It is a vigorous moving meditation that helps improve focus, circulation and relieve anxiety in a day-to-day life.  The practice of AshtangaSurya Namaskar once daily, can have great rewards on your mental state, spiritual being and physical self.

Yin

The dessert of all Yoga styles. Yin Yoga uses passive postures held for up to 5 minutes allowing a deep opening in the connective tissue of the hips, large muscles of the thighs, and spine. Stimulating the meridians of the lower body which my have a direct impact on organ health as well as helping to release blocked energy stored in the joints. This deeply desirable class is great for all levels, runners, athletes, those with tighter muscle tissue and anyone requiring to zone out and deeply relax It truly is a decadent practice ending with a gentle massage. Meditation techniques may be incorporated.  (often can combined with restorative props)

Kundalini

Kundalini as taught by Yogi Bhajan is an exquisite practice of yoga mudra, kriya, breathing techniques, deep meditation and relaxation. The recipe of each class brings the practitioner to a balanced and harmonious state of relaxed bliss. The power of the practice helps each person, class by class, step by step, to clear out accumulated stress, and uncover the natural source of energy and light within.

Yogalates

Expect a fast-paced class that builds mental and physical endurance. Not ideal for beginners, this class is great for those with a basic knowledge of yoga, as we move in and out of postures quickly and focus on breath and movement.  It is a fun, playful practice that gives you the opportunity to explore postures, mixing things up a bit . Filled with Chattarungas and planks , this class is a great session if you want to take the Yoga asana, Pilates fundamentals and mix it into a fun upbeat class and pushes you to discover strength you didn’t know you had. Great for building upper body strength and cardiovascular endurance.

Meditation 

Learn to calm the mind, quiet the senses, and increase concentration during this 30 minute guided meditation class. No experience necessary, and students of all spiritual backgrounds are welcome. Class exercises will include instruction in meditation, calming pranayama (breathing exercises), and methods for developing concentration.
