Manmeet Kaur
Functional Movement + Yoga Asanas + Philosophy Manmeet has over 1300 hours of yog teacher training experience, specializing in pranayama, meditation and asanas. Her yoga began at the age of 10 in an Ashram in India and under the guidance of hatha guru. She is a group fitness instructor and social worker conducting free yoga classes to improve the lives other others. Manmeet is a gifted and talented teacher of yogic texts such as hatha yoga pradipika, patnajali yoga sutra with a solid command in shatkarma practices. Manmeet is strong and patient teacher with a deep understanding of yoga foundations and beyond. Her experiences and education goes well beyond the mat and one of the most inspiring and seasoned trainers you will ever find in your path. Paniz Riahi
Yoga Asana + Movement + Yogic Anatomy A skilled and passionate certified yoga instructor with experience designing and leading dynamic yoga flows and acroyoga. She been practicing and teaching yoga and acroyoga for over 8 years before and is one of Markham Yoga Graduates. She teaches from a place of integrity, knowing the physical body, movement and understands the link between flexibility, strength, and versatility for different body structures. Teaching vinyasa and power yoga in heated and non-heated classes and private classes gives her opportunity to delve into the dimensions of movement. Her passion for excellence supporting your growth is a strong and brings this strength in her daily practice and delivery and hopes to share this love with her students. |

She embraces several different styles of yoga, but primarily practices and teaches in the styles of Hatha and Vinyasa. Daye is a free spirited, dedicated and compassionate yoga teacher, spiritual healer and educator who thrives on helping others through teaching yoga, meditation, reiki certification programs, spiritual workshops and yoga retreats. Yoga Asana & Yogic History Shaili was introduced to Yoga at a young age her father. A medical doctor himself, her father taught her to be mindful of the movements of the body. With a daily Yoga practice, the reasons were sometimes fitness, sometimes to be able to breathe deeply in the hectic work schedule. It was after her son was born, she felt a stronger and much deeper connection to yoga. Yoga healed postpartum and allowed Upon a successful training program, Shaili took her skills to a stronger practice and sharing the knowledge of her mindful approach with attention to proper alignment and breath. Yoga Asana + Class Building As a young individual who has always been very Passionate about fitness & active living, I was always looking for new ways to improve my lifestyle & thats when I decided to try Yoga which has forever changed my Life. Starting my yoga journey is September of 2013 I stepped onto my yoga mat which ignited my passion for yoga, which I knew would continue to blossom. Completing my Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Tree Studios in April of 2015. I like to add creative and unique ways to make the poses I teach in class extra graceful and extra elegant to keep my students inspired & to help spread the beauty that yoga can bring into our lives, on and off that mat. When coming to one of my classes, expect for it not only to be a workout for the body & mind, but also a tranquil healing experience. My goal is to help strengthen, heal & inspire every single yogi that enters my classroom, essentially giving back the magical feeling that yoga has blessed my life with. |
Madura Siva - Nandakumar
Ayurveda + Yoga Asanas Madura is a holistic health advocate, and comes from a deeply rooted background in science and health care. She has been practicing yoga from various renowned gurus since her early teens, and has both Traditional Hatha Yoga Training and Certification from the Annamalai University as well as 200-Hour YRT Certification. She plans to pursue further training in siddha marma massage and Ayurvedic nutrition. Her strong foundation in the health sciences enables her to apply and explain the benefits of Yoga from a rigorous question-based approach, while her inner artist and mystic often likes to let loose and just flow. To her, yoga is both science and art. Madura's life goal is to get as many people as possible to adopt a yogic lifestyle. She believes that therein lies the secret to true happiness. |
Melanie Schorr
Ashtanga Based Teachings, Hatha, Anatomy Melanie Schorr is a certified yoga instructor & has 18+ years of international experience. After a bad car accident with severe whiplash, broken bones and other injuries, Melanie gave up physiotherapy and gave Pilates a try, but, being both an energetic gym rat and runner, found it a bit boring and discovered yoga and was introduced. She took a trip to India where met teacher, Vijay Amar and spent 2 months training 3 months of training at 7-8 hours daily focusing on anatomy and alignment while practicing yoga and learning the art of yoga. She started teaching Hatha classes on Koh Phangan in Thailand at The Yoga Studio. She is very well versed in because of all the injuries and the physiotherapy she did for herself before coming to Canada 10 years ago where she still now practices and teaches private and group classes. |
