Every person has been touched by stress, and anxiety, which can visit us in many different
forms and various degrees – it surely has no boundaries. Developing your yoga practice to help combat stress and anxiety will help stimulate one’s growth and ensure focus on your self-improvement. Various yoga poses help release tension, both emotionally and physically, all the while boosting
endorphins to encourage positivity to flow throughout your body’s system. Pranayama,
breathing exercises, have been proven to alleviate stress, promote proper circulation, inspire
mindfulness, and improve your sleep quality. In combination, this will stimulate relaxation and initiate release.
Savasana / Corpse Pose
This pose is a must, and although small in movement can immediately help relieve stress and tension throughout your body. It allows you to focus on slowing your breath, while calming your mind and reducing your blood pressure.
Setu Bandha Sarvangasana / Bridge Pose
The immediate release of anxiety is a promise. This pose is known for its ability to reduce
headaches, backaches, insomnia, and fatigue. It promotes circulation of the blood, and gentle stretching of your back and legs.
Bhujangasana / Cobra Pose
This pose provides immediate relaxation by encouraging an emphasis on breathwork. It helps stretch and straighten your arms, upper back, and shoulders, making you more aware of your heart and breath, as you continue to open your chest. It is known for its numerous benefits, including releasing stress.
Marjaryasana / Cat Pose & Bitilasana / Cow Pose

Performed together, these poses allow you to stretch your back, massage your spine, and open your unwanted knotted up parts. Both poses help center your body by cooling your muscles and assist with slowly releasing anxiety. They will help clear your mind and introduce calmness.
